I first picked up a camera in 2010 which I had bought to go out to South Africa on a charity trip and it totally changed my life and my career. I have over the years covered all genres  of photography from, studio, cars, property, weddings, landscapes and many more whilst I found what I enjoyed most, which is working with animals. So my work is mainly focused around horse and dog photoshoots, wildlife which is a big passion and I also do commercial work for brands wanting natural lifestyle product pictures in the glorious countryside where I live and often styling a shoot using my contacts to supply dogs, horses even birds of prey to bring products to life and meet the clients needs. In addition I have been teaching photography for over 10 years from beginners to more advanced, both group workshops and private 121’s, details of these can be found under the Workshop button on the website. 

 

Photography for me is all about capturing moments and subjects in time, that will be there for posterity, whether it be photoshoots for clients or my locational work in the UK and abroad capturing horses or wildlife for my fine art prints. With the subjects I photograph I have infinite patience to ensure the essence of the subject shines through to give my clients images that they will treasure for a lifetime. I have dogs and horses myself and sadly their time on earth is far shorter than ours and memories are so precious.

My wildlife work has been recognised by being a finalist in Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2024 and also an award for Nature Photographer of the Year 2024.
