DATE : SATURDAY, MAY 14TH
LOCATION : BRIMHAM ROCKS
Prior to this workshop we will hold a Zoom Presentation a few days before (usually around 6.30pm the Wednesday before) which you can watch and ask questions in the comfort of your own home. We will then meet up at Brimham Rocks for the practical part of the workshop which will be about 3 and a half hours starting at 9am. Brimham Rocks are balancing rock formations on Brimham Moor in North Yorkshire. Some of the rocks stand at a height of nearly 30 feet and there are numerous amazing formations which have been caused by millstone grit being eroded by water, glaciation and wind over hundreds of years. This is an ideal venue for our landscape workshops with so many inspirational photographic opportunities. We learn all about composition, exposure, using polarising and graduated filters to create more dramatic landscape photography. Filters are provided for you to use on the day. A tripod is available to borrow if required but please make a note on the booking form. Finally, instead of our usual group review session at the end of the day, everyone will have the option of sending me some of their pictures from the day to have a personal review over zoom
